How Candy Shorts tokens work
Every Candy Shorts episode has a token price, shown on its button. The first episodes cost nothing; after that, each episode is unlocked one by one with tokens. The access rule, as verified on Oct 19, 2026:

So the number that matters is not the price of one episode but tokens to finish: the sum of every episode's price in a series. The free episodes count as zero.

"Months of Premium tokens" assumes you spend every monthly token on Shorts and buy nothing extra. Candy's help center says you can buy more tokens at any time at candy.ai/tokens, but that page asks you to sign in, so we cannot show token pack prices.

Where tokens come from
Premium includes 100 tokens a month. Candy's help center says they are added on your renewal date, and that yearly subscribers still receive their tokens every month, on the day of the month they subscribed. Plans as Candy showed them to an anonymous US visitor:

On the 12-month plan, that is $3.99 a month for 100 tokens, enough for 2 typical series a month. Premium also includes Candy's chat and generator features, so not all of that price is for Shorts.
Token rules worth knowing
- No transfers or cash-outs. Candy's terms say "Tokens cannot be transferred to different users or accounts, nor can they be traded in, exchanged for money, or used to settle outstanding payments."
- Unused tokens may expire. The terms say remaining tokens expire when a subscription ends; a help center article says they stay on the account. Details on our cancel page.
- Hidden Spicy series are not in the calculator. Their episodes and prices are not visible without an account, so we do not guess them.
Not verified: token pack prices, and whether a Premium member still pays tokens per episode. Candy's Shorts paywall lists "Unlock all premium episodes", "AI generates the most spicy moments", "Watch in HD anytime, anywhere" as subscription benefits, while the episode buttons show token prices. The calculator uses the token prices Candy displays.
