The age gate

The click log
When you click a button or link that takes you to candy.ai, your browser sends us a short beacon with two things: the id of that button (for example, which page block it sat in) and the path of the page you were on. Our server writes them to a monthly file with the time. The log has no IP address, no cookie and no identifier that could follow you from one visit to the next. We use it to see which pages and buttons people find useful, without a third-party analytics tool.
Like every request to a website, that beacon also reaches our web server, which records it in the server log described above.
Search
The search box downloads a small index file from our server and filters it inside your browser. What you type is not sent to us or to anyone else.
